• FINAL WORD ON THE 2013 STATION WORKS GARAGE BORDER 100

About time I said some Thank You’s

I hope you all enjoyed what the team and I put out for you, from the positive comments on here and the thank you texts I have recieved, I can honestly say the team did welsh border proud.

Our aim was to give you a no nonsense rally with all the ingredients to enjoy whilst being competitive, and have as many finishers as possible.

Well done to Gt and Pricey on a faultless run with only 2 seconds in it at the start of the last section. They sure did battle right to the end with mr dude and Gwawr. A three way battle was going strong for John davies and Nick Bloxham until a couple of bumps sorted their car out. I know John was devestated to say the least. Keeping a eye on you three up front was the highlight of my rally and I will never forget the night.

Thanks go to Station Works garage for sposoring the event once again , Dave for scrut and Ian for noise. All Top Blokes.

Thanks must go to the signing on teams. Slick and quick and everyone knew what they were doing.

Marshals were spot on in all places and smiles all around with the dry weather. Thanks to them all.

Thanks must go to our Openers and closers, great job team.

Not part of the team before the rally, but did a fantastic job helping out, Leigh Powley. Star man

Thanks to all involved in putting on the Border 100, Whether you’ve been an official, Marshal, competitors, landowner or tolorant wife.

Thanks must go to my wife Mei for letting me put this one on again. And bigger thanks for dragging me off for a few days hols to let me get to know my little boy again.

Stars of the show and team Glyn Glan Dwr, Terry, Nige, Rhys, and Tim. Top men did their roles perfect.

Chaw For naw and hopefully see you next year.!!!!!!
